- stable iter 2→6: not-yet-physics
The one-paragraph verdict — Conclusion, §0A single universal theory of physics is not forbidden and not delivered. The two pillars — quantum field theory and general relativity — are mutually consistent everywhere we can test, and of the 17 catalogued inter-framework clashes none is a proven logical inconsistency; they are domain-mismatches and unsolved-but-consistent problems concentrated where both theories are extrapolated past their tested regimes. A consistent unified framework is therefore very plausibly possible. But the most developed candidate direction — that causal/algebraic/entanglement structure precedes metric geometry — encodes geometry without yet generating it, and, decisively, has no distinguishing experimental test even in principle. By this wiki’s own anti-crank standard it is therefore not yet physics: a sharp, coherent research strategy, not a result.
Condensed; the full paragraph, with its hedges and stability record, is chapter 1.

- 1.0The Verdict
The converged verdict: a universal theory is neither forbidden nor delivered; the leading direction encodes geometry without generating it and has no distinguishing test — not yet physics.
- 2.0Findings
Running executive synthesis: what is solid, where the frameworks genuinely clash, which principles and directions survive scrutiny, iteration by iteration.
- 3.0Theory Map
The atlas: every framework, its domain of validity, and the reduction/limit structure that relates the theories.
- 4.0Domains
Ten domain deep-dives: the load-bearing frameworks audited one by one.
The 17 catalogued inter-framework clashes (GC-n), classified by kind — none a demonstrated logical inconsistency.
Stably-numbered registry (OP-n) of what physics does not know: precise statement, why-it-is-hard, leading approaches, epistemic tag.
- 7.0Hypotheses
Refereed candidate research directions (H0–H8) toward background-independent physics, each with a referee verdict — directions, not results.
Deliberately blunt comparative survey of unification and quantum-gravity programs on six axes; ambition trades against testability.
Catalogue of candidate truly-foundational organizing principles, ranked and sharply separated from emergent/effective ones.
Registry (A-n) classifying the assumptions of physical theory along the fundamental ↔ historical-artifact axis.
Constants, unit conventions, the Planck scale, free-parameter counts, and the fine-tuning puzzles.
Post-saturation tracker of the channels that constrain the program's gate, cores, and target — no channel decides the central wager.
